The Philodendron Paraiso Verde is a stunning and rare aroid known for its elongated, marbled green leaves with striking variegation. Each leaf is uniquely patterned with splashes of lime, mint, and emerald tones, making this plant a showstopper in any indoor jungle. As a climbing variety, it thrives with a moss pole or other support structure, encouraging larger and more dramatic foliage.

Philodendron Paraiso Verde Care Tips:

1. Light:

Provide bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation. Too much direct sun may scorch the leaves, while low light can reduce the intensity of its marbling.

2. Soil:

Use a chunky, well-draining potting mix. A blend of coco coir, orchid bark, perlite, and compost is ideal—avoid peat moss to support better aeration and sustainability.

3. Watering:

Water when the top 2 inches of soil feel dry. Be careful not to overwater—Paraiso Verde prefers slightly moist but not soggy conditions.

4. Humidity:

Enjoys high humidity (60%+). Use a humidifier or humidity tray to replicate its tropical native habitat.

5. Temperature:

Prefers temperatures between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep it away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. An average temperature of 72° or higher will encourage more variegation in the foliage.

6. Fertilization:

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season. Cut back during the winter months.

7. Support:

Provide a moss pole or totem to encourage upward growth and larger leaf development.

8. Propagation:

Easily propagated through stem cuttings with a node. Root in water or directly in soil.
